Instructors: New Release 1.74 is coming soon

Hope you are all having a wonderful summer. Here are some of our exciting upcoming features.

  • We added a special level to feedback and hints messages where the next step is also revealed. The way it works is that in the primary solution you can add a hint to the cell (using 'Set cell hints' action) and kick 'Last hint level reveals the correct step' checkbox in the cell hints dialog as shown below. During the problem solving, when user opens this hints, the 'Show me more' button will be replaced to the 'Reveal next step' button.

  • We made a tooltip display on hover for question mark. You can now enter a text that can be displayed when students hover over the question mark. This feature is available within the problem statement and comments for reference solutions.

  • We allowed hints review when solving in tutor mode to test a problem. Now you can test the hints in a problem before assigning it to the students.

  • We added placeholder for next cell to even further simplify solution entry.
  • We added parenthesis around fractions taken to a power and unary minus in a product.
  • We added mixed numbers, repeated decimals, and plus/minus notations to our Algebra notation pad.

  • We added sketch line widget.
  • We added a number line widget that allows user to add expressions in a free manner.
  • We added placeholder for subproblem result.
  • We added action list to expression cell placeholder.
  • We added autocorrection of open interval on adding to final answer that requires point
  • We added vertical alignment for equations/inequalities for Pre-algebra. Your students will find some useful hints that will help them solve problems that involve equations and inequalities. also, mistake explanations messages are shown as assist for 'cellSave' trigger.

  • We allowed to edit specific rows of guided practice on free solve.

  • We allowed to restrict expression placeholder only to single expression. When selected students won't be allowed to submit more than one expression for that specific placeholder.
