Gradarius is an online learning platform designed to help you solve calculus problems in an intuitive, step-by-step manner (in fact the word gradarius is Latin for proceeding stepbystep). Gradarius doesn’t just ask you for the final answer to a problem. It allows you to enter every step of your solution, and it has the ability to give you instant feedback about your work, telling you not only whether you’ve made a mistake, but recognizing the kind of mistake you’ve made and offering you hints on how to proceed.

In order to fully take advantage of all that Gradarius has to offer, you’ll need to spend a bit of time familiarizing yourself with how the software works. This folder is intended to help you get started. It explains:

  1. How solutions to a problem should be structured in Gradarius.

  2. How to enter mathematical notation in Gradarius

  3. What actions are and how they can make your life easier.

  4. The difference between Tutor Mode and Solo Mode (aka Exam mode), as well as the various kind of feedback Gradarius can give you about your work and how you can use the feedback to improve your solution to get full credit for your solution.
